Our dojo is rooted in the Shaolin Kempo Karate discipline, but our instructors are also well-versed in other martial arts. By studying multiple techniques, students develop a well-rounded appreciation of martial arts and are able to craft their own unique style. Classes are offered on set weekly schedules, by private lessons, and through special seminars.

Shaolin Kempo Karate

Shaolin Kempo Karate embraces the practice of kata, or forms, as well as animal techniques, and the Four Ways of Fighting. It combines the rich traditions of Chinese Shaolin and Japanese Karate, along with other martial arts such as Kempo and Chin Na. The mixture of these arts makes for a class that is diverse, interesting, and effective. Because it is built from so many styles, Shaolin Kempo Karate is a versatile martial art that can be adapted for anyone, at any age or ability level.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a relaxing and invigorating art that teaches focus, awareness, and mindfulness. The health benefits of Tai Chi are well-known, but you may be surprised by the mental benefits Tai Chi conveys. Students of Tai Chi learn to use the mind to seize control of the body and activate stagnant muscle groups, allowing for more freedom of motion.
